Tim Stepan

Tim Stepan is a seasoned expert in bringing Alternative Data to the financial community, with nearly 8 years’ experience in business development and sales specific to data. At present, he works at Dodge Data and Analytics, the best source of data for the US construction industry, where he is leading the development of Dodge’s financial services business. Prior to Dodge, Mr. Stepan was a founding member of DICSERN, one of the first data analytics companies focused on applying big data to institutional investors. At DISCERN he lead their Boston office and built a successful franchise. Mr. Stepan started his financial career as an institutional equity salesperson working for Soleil Securities and Prudential Equity Group. He served as an officer in the US Marines and was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he served with distinction. Graduated from Stonehill College where he majored in economics.
